SL4NT is an application which implements
a syslog daemon. The purpose of a syslog daemon
is to listen for incoming syslog messages from
syslog senders and then decode and process the
messages for logging and notification purposes.

using the Remote Registry service, which is
part of the Windows operating system. It will
then compare this against the information that
you have recorded in your inventory databases
from the last time that the machine was audited,
and alert you of any changes.
